Editorial policy
The guide earns trust by showing what is known, what is editorial judgment, and what may have changed.
Yugawara Club is an independent editorial project operated by MKUltraman. It is not the official voice of Yugawara Town, a tourism association, or any business it covers. Editorial inclusion, omission, ordering, and wording remain the editor’s responsibility. Cooperation with a source does not give that source control over unrelated coverage or conclusions.
Coverage is selected for relevance to Yugawara, practical usefulness, distinctiveness, source quality, and how well a place or experience fits the reader’s decision. A recommendation is an editorial judgment, not an objective universal ranking or guarantee. Absence from the guide is not necessarily criticism; the guide is selective and incomplete by design.
Material claims should be supported by current official or first-party sources where available: the business, organizer, transport operator, public authority, or original document. Independent reporting and direct observation may add context. We distinguish confirmed facts from inference, tradition, opinion, and editorial recommendation, and we record review dates where changing details matter.
English and Japanese are treated as equal editorial products, not as a primary page and an afterthought. The versions may not be literal translations because useful explanation, tone, and assumed knowledge differ by audience. They should nevertheless preserve the same material facts, boundaries, disclosures, and practical confidence.
A paid placement, sponsorship, referral arrangement, hosted visit, complimentary service, affiliate relationship, or other material benefit must be disclosed clearly near the relevant coverage. Commercial support does not purchase verification status, a positive recommendation, or immunity from correction. Editorial recommendations remain editorial decisions, and sponsored material must be distinguishable from independent coverage.
We publish images and other media only when their source and publication rights are reasonably established, and credit them where required. Quotations should retain their meaning and relevant context. Private individuals are not named, quoted, or given non-public contact details from private correspondence without confirmation, except where lawful publication is clearly justified by overriding public interest.
Specific correction requests are reviewed against the strongest available evidence. Clear factual errors should be corrected promptly; material changes may be identified in the page or its review date. We do not remove accurate coverage merely because it is inconvenient, nor do we preserve an error to defend an earlier editorial decision.
